And before that, I was in Taiwan. I've never lived in UK before, so I can't do any comparison, but I believe that Wellington is one of the heaven on earth. Also, to answer one of your questions. Yes, because you know that you will be leaving in 1 year, it prevented you from making some long term friendships. I know, because I moved around for a while before settling down. I lived in wellington like you guys did while waiting to get into Canada. And before that, I was in Taiwan.
