Events and contacts do get sync-ed. The Unfiled problem is a big one for me. We have 2 Palm devices syncing on this account, and each one seems to over-write the other's "Unfiled" calendar on the hotsync. The previous Unfiled events get deleted! I hope MS will fix this very soon. MS 5.0.3 works generally fine for me with MacOSX 10.4.4. Events and contacts do get sync-ed.
