vista users will have to Copy WindowsXP's "usbaudio.sys" to VistaPC and apply new vista update from VOIPVOICE. My CyberphoneK is working complete!!

1.Copy XP's "usbaudio.sys" to "MyWorkDir" from "%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers". 2.Rename "usbaudio.sys" to "usbaudio-xp.sys". 3.Copy "usbaudio-xp.sys" to "%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers" of WindowsVistaPC. 4.Run the Registry Editor. The following changes. HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\usbaudio\ImagePath "system32\drivers\usbaudio.sys" to "system32\drivers\usbaudio-xp.sys" 5.Connect CyberPhoneK and apply new vista update from VOIPVOICE.

After a long and fruitless search I found this group and I just downloaded the Mac drivers and English instruction manual from the Tiptel AG site,

What you want is:

Drivers tiptel 116 cyberphone voor Mac OS X V10.3 and

VVSkypeMAC_userguide.pdf

works great on my intelmac os x tiger 10.4.8

Note that you have to read the instructions to install. In particular first you must install Mac Skype Version 2.6.0.140 or later (from the Skype web site), then QUIT IT, then install and click on the above Mac driver. It will then launch and integrate itself with Skype.

Everything works on my Intel Macbook--the dial pad, all the special keys on the CyberPhone K, etc.

RTFM (the userguide above), it's a model of clarity and doesn't take long. It takes you step by step on both installation and use of the phone,

The software engineer did an excellent job. Pick up the phone and Skype opens; hang it up and Skype hides. You can dial from the pad or your buddy list. The ringer on the phone works fine.

You're right Bruce. It's cheap. I've tried some phone calls to my country. However, there's no SkypeIn number available for my country. Sad aye.

Hello mate, are they any further ahead with these os x drivers?

I ordered the phone when my xp workstation was fully operational now im relying on my powerbook g4 setup.

Probably gonna ditch the wintel platform until vista is released.

James, I've updated the link at the bottom of the post, but as of 20.01.06 there are no Mac drivers listed here. Odd.

Even the Forum is missing, where the Mac drivers were announced. Google cache reports "The VoIPvoice Forum is temporarily unavailable whilst we fix a database problem."
