Avoid a slow HotSync by creating a wireless Personal Area Network to move individual files between your Mac and your Palm T3...
Mac to Palm
Having an older G4 Mac without built-in Bluetooth to create a wireless personal-area network (PAN), I purchased D-Link's DBT-120 USB Bluetooth Adapter. This adapter needs no driver installation under Mac OS X (Windows drivers are available for download from D-Link; get your WIDCOMM module security key by following these instructions.)

If you want to install a file (such as an .mpg or .jpg), put Bluetooth File Exchange (found in your Utilities folder) into the Dock and thereafter simply drag-and-drop individual files onto its icon for beaming to your Bluetooth-equipped Palm. In doing this you can install a file wirelessly without having to do a full (slow) HotSync. A slightly more advanced solution (e.g. beam multiple files at once) is offered by the shareware program Drag'n'tooth.
Palm to Mac
Although some Palm apps include the option to send data via Bluetooth, this is limited to "regular" files. If you have non-Palm files on your SD Card, such as .jpg images, .wav files, etc. then BeamPRO for Palm OS will allow you to send these files to your Mac and receive then using Mac OS X's included Bluetooth File Exchange utility:

Can I browse the Palm like I can with my T610?
You can use Bluetooth File Exchange (Applications/Utilities/) to "browse" files on the T610 because the T610 supports the necessary BT "services". If you try browsing a Palm (called "Bruce" below) you will see a message informing you that the device does not have the necessary services:

To confirm this, if you open the Bluetooth Preferences pane, Devices tab, the only service listed for the Palm is "OBEX Object Push". For comparison the T610 supports OBEX File Transfer, Dial-up Networking, Voice gateway, Serial Port 1, Serial Port 2, OBEX Object Push, IrMC Synchronization, HF Voice gateway, and OBEX Basic Imaging.

I got the link to this post from Google.
Thank you for the help!

oh, crap, its really easy,
just dident read it very well, thought you had to have a third party app to do Mac to Palm
What are you wanting to do Dave? Bluetooth File Exchange, using an SD card, or Missing Sync are all as easy as it gets.
